Catching Up! - November Blog Designs

Now for my November blog designs...

This design is for Ms. Kim and her family who are adopting from China for the second time! Ms. Kim asked me to design her a blog makeover to announce the adoption of her little girl, Cai. Isn't Cai just beautiful!!! Visit their blog to follow her journey as they adopt this beautiful little girl! And also to see her cute blog design. =)

Ms. Julie had the cutest idea for this blog design. She asked me if I could photoshop her daughter, Malia, onto a background for the header using this adorable kit. Isn't it just the cutest idea? I love the imagination/fairy theme and the butterflies!! Very cute and fun!

I had so much fun designing this winter makeover for Ms.Emily!! I love, love the super cute elements!!! And the fun, bright colors, too!!

Ms.Emily also asked me to design a blog button for the Henan Kids International website. Henan Kids International is a group of adoptive families who lead volunteer projects to care for children in Henan orphanages. If you'd like to learn more about Henan Kids International, visit henankids.org! You can find the copy code for this button on Ms.Emily's blog.

This design was for Ms. Katrina who enjoys photographing her kids and sharing them on her family blog (she is really talented I might add!). I love the warm colors she chose along with her beautiful photography!! Enjoy your new design, Ms. Katrina!! =)

Ms. Patricia's New Blog Makeover!

I love designing makeovers for photographers. Great photos can make any blog really stand out. Since I've started my business, I've designed blogs for two mothers who are great photographers (Ms. Shonni and Ms. Sharla).

Most recently, I designed this typepad makeover for another awesome photographer, Ms. Patricia. She picked out this beautiful kit and sent me some great pics for the design! I love how it all turned out! Go take a look at her blog and check out her beautiful photography.

Also, I am excited to announce that I am now designing blogs through typepad!

Ms. Sharla's New Blog Makeovers!

I was so excited when Ms. Sharla emailed me to help her with her new blog designs. She did a wonderful job designing the headers for both of her blogs and asked if I could do the template designs. I am so excited that I could help!

My family and her family met while adopting my baby brother and her daughter in China. Since then, our families have had so much fun getting to know each other.

She wanted me to design a template for both her family blog and photo blog. I was so excited! Her favorite colors are brown and aqua blue, and she loves butterflies. We both liked the idea of making the blogs coordinate.

For her family blog, she wanted to be able to post larger pictures, but she wanted to keep her sidebar. So, I came up with a way to have both. I gave her a wide place to post with a skinny sidebar.

Her photography blog was the first photoblog that I've designed! Since it is a photoblog, there is no sidebar leaving room for large photos. Instead, all the sidebar items are placed at the bottom of the blog in a three column footer. I love the ending result! Ms. Sharla is an amazing photographer and I can't wait to see all her photographs displayed on her new photoblog.

One of the things on her blog that I'm most excited about is the drop down navigation bar. That's right! I said, "drop down navigation bar." So cool!

The navigation bar keeps all of Ms. Sharla's great photos and journaling organized through different categories. I'm looking forward to following her family's life through her lens and through her amazing gift of writing.

I really enjoyed working with you, Ms. Sharla! I know you will bless others through your blogs.

Lots of new things!!

Hey Everyone!
Just letting you all know that I've got LOTS of new add-ons/extras for your blogs... navigation bars, blog buttons, rotating headers, and MORE! Also, I am now designing photo blogs and 3-column templates!!!! Go take a look {HERE}!

Love Without Boundaries

I am so excited that I was able to donate a blog design to Love Without Boundaries! In case you aren't familar with LWB, they provide the most loving care and help for orphaned and impoverished children in China. I love what they do. You can learn more about LWB at their website, http://www.lovewithoutboundaries.com/.

As it says on their website, this blog was created to be an interactive blog set up for you to give them your comments and feedback. They discuss issues around running a charity, adoption and parenting, as well as stories that inspire them.

Ms. Amy and Ms. Karen at LWB were so sweet! They picked out this cute digital scrapbook kit and sent me lots of pictures of children that they have helped! Each child was so precious, and their pictures brought tears to my eyes!

I also designed a blog button to go with their design! Go to their blog and grab their button for your sidebar!

Ms. Stacey's Blog Makeover!

I enjoyed designing this makeover for Ms. Stacey. She has 4 kids, and two are adopted from China. That's how she got the name for her blog, "2x to China".

The kit she chose is called "Vintage Grunge", but it also has an asian feel to it. I think this kit made her design turn out beautiful! Go take a look at her blog to see her new design!
Enjoy your new blog design, Ms. Stacey!

Ms. Kathy's New Blog Makeover!

I just recently did a makeover for Ms. Kathy. She has seven kids and had the idea of incorporating the Old Women in a Shoe poem into her blog design. I loved the idea and couldn't wait to get started! She renamed her blog "A View from Our Shoe" to go along with the theme! Underneath her header, I placed a row of pictures of her beautiful children.
On her sidebar, I added the new revised poem. How cute!

Like the past 2 blogs I've designed, this one is private too. If you would like to see the pictures larger, simply click on them!
I wish you could see the whole blog! The colors in the kit made the blog just beautiful! Enjoy your new blog makeover, Ms. Kathy!

Ms. K's Blog Design

Back in April, I did Ms. K's makeover! She wanted her blog design to have a mountain/forest/outdoor theme. The kit that she chose went along greatly with that theme!

Ms. K's blog is private so it isn't linked to her site. If you click on the picture, you can see the header bigger and better! Also, she requested that I blur out the picture of her family for my portfolio. That was no problem at all! I enjoyed working on her blog! Enjoy your new look, Ms. K!!

Ms. Erika's Blog Makeover!

This cute little header, I designed for Ms. Erika's blog makeover! Isn't it just so cute? She chose the kit Lil' Sweetie by Kristin Aagard and Lorie M Designs at Polka Dot Potato. Because her blog is private, you can only see her adorable header when you click on it. I wish you could see it! Her background is the multi-colored polka dot paper that you see on the header, and the sidebar is a turqoise blue. I embellished the pictures of her 2 beautiful children with flowers, birds, and butterflies. In between posts, is this cute little bee!

I think this kit was a little different for me. It is very playful and fun! I had so much fun designing Ms. Erika's blog makeover! The best part of all, this was a gift from Ms. Amie to Ms. Erika! Thank you, Ms. Amie... from both of us! Enjoy your new makeover, Ms. Erika!!

Ms. Linny's Blog Makeover!!

You may have been wondering what I have been doing lately. I just finished Ms. Linny's blog makeover, A Place Called Simplicity!!

My mom and Ms. Linny have been bloggy friends for many months now. The Saunders have 10 kids and 7 of them are adopted!! They are getting ready to travel to bring home their 10th child, Jubilee from China. Just this January, sadly, their log cabin house burned down in a fire.

I'm so excited to be able to bring some happiness to Ms. Linny by doing her blog makeover!! She chose a kit called Grandma's Lap with lots of gingham and lace. I've been so blessed as I decorated each picture.

Go over to "A Place Called Simplicity" and take a look at her new blog design. If you haven't read about their amazing story, you can click on the links under "Special Posts" that are on her sidebar.

I hope you enjoy your new blog design, Ms. Linny!!

Ms.Julia's Blog Makeover

I finished another blog makeover! This one was for Ms.Julia who is in the process of adopting little Caleb from China. The blog is called "Say You Will Love Me Forever." The picture on the header is of Caleb looking at his mommy's and daddy's face for the first time! So precious! Enjoy your new blog makeover, Ms.Julia! It won't be long before you have Caleb in your arms.

New Blog Makeover Package

I have made a few changes to my prices/packages page. I felt like there needed to be a package priced somewhere in between the basic package and the deluxe package. So...I added a new package called the Standard Makeover Package. I also felt that it was hard to tell the difference between each package. To make that clear, I listed the things that all had in common at the top and then listed the differences underneath each package title. I hope this clarifies things! Visit the prices/packages page to see these changes I've made!
